What Are We Doing?

Constructing a new gravity sewer line from near the vicinity 164th/I-5

• Starting at Volunteers of America and tunneling to cross under 164th
• Then running south along the edge of I-5 through the Bank of America /Walmart Parking Lot and of the Eldec Property
• Crossing under the Interurban Trail to 17th Ave W. and continuing south to 18th Pl W.
• Leave the public road and enter a private lot about half of a block of the intersection of 18th Ave and 17th Ave W
• Tunneling to cross under I-5
• North a small distance from the end of 20th Ave W, to 170th St SW and then west on 170th St SW ending at Alder Way

We will also be installing a new water transmission main as part of this project. This will occur from the intersection of 18th/17th on the east side of I-5 to 170th/Alder Way on the west side of I-5.

What is Happening Now?

 Final permits and easements have been obtained. We anticipate that we will be going out for bid in late spring with construction to start in summer 2013.
